About Colorado Rox

Founded in 2020, the Colorado Rox baseball team is composed of youth players in Southeast Colorado, from rural communities in Springfield, McClave, Wiley, and Walsh. This season players range from age 8 - 11. Most of the team has been playing together since their 8 year old All-Star season. In 2019, the team secured a second place finish at the Colorado 9U State Tournament in Denver, and earned an invite to the Regional Tournament in Pittsburg, Kansas where they were awarded the Tournament Director's Sportsmanship Trophy.

Their love for the game and desire to play the best teams in the region continues to flourish. Their mental toughness and fearlessness of failure has helped the Rox develop consistent growth. If you were to ask the players what is one thing that they enjoy most about baseball, they would say that it is being able to compete with their friends.
